Located on the famous Rose Hall Estate, the land on which Hummingbird Hall sits once formed part of an extensive plantation owned by many, including the infamous Annie Palmer. These days, as the select White Witch and Cinnamon Hill golf courses, the Estate is now magically botanical garden, “Ocean Course” and the location of Hummingbird Hall – the most fabulous wedding venue in Jamaica.

The history of Hummingbird Hall – ” a 21st Century Jamaican Great House” – is an extraordinary confluence of Jamaica’s colonial past and progressive future.

Hummingbird Hall started out as a novelist’s hideaway; and much of the (gorgeous) art that we have and the vibe that we exude results from this. In fact, with our substantial Lagoon Deck infinity pool, flowering garden, gazebo and international collection of art and artefacts – Hummingbird Hall really does have the air of a luxury tropical retreat of the well traveled.

True to our artsy roots, each of our weddings is custom designed by a team of artists and artisans and everything — from the centrepieces, to the cake, to the décor of the Hall itself — is unique for each couple.
