Jamaican weddings are legally recognized worldwide.

There is therefore no need for couples to legally marry in their home countries before their Jamaican wedding.

Equally, unlike other destination wedding locations, couples do not require blood tests to marry in Jamaica.

Instead, couples opting for a Jamaican wedding must obtain a Minster’s Licence.

At Hummingbird Hall, document processing and the acquiring of a Minister’s Licence are included as standard in all of our wedding packages. Couples simply submit the required documentation to their Hummingbird Hall Wedding Consultant who will apply for the Licence on their behalf.
